The 7th International Comparison of Absolute Gravimeters, ICAG-2005, took place at the BIPM in September 2005, organized by:
- the BIPM,
- the Consultative Committee for Mass and Related Quantities (CCM), and
- the IAG Commission 2 "Gravity Field" (Study Group 2.1).
About 20 absolute gravimeters participated, from 16 countries, the BIPM, and the ECGS. In July 2005, relative gravimeters carried out supportive measurements of the gravity gradients and the links between the sites of the BIPM gravity micronetwork.
